Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bellperson/Shuttle Driver to join our team at the Colorado Springs Marriott. As a key member of our Guest Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist guests with their luggage and packages upon arrival and departure, exceeding expectations and arranging transportation as needed.
  • Run shuttle van between hotel and local sites within a 2-mile radius of our location, providing a convenient and reliable transportation service to our guests.
  • Provide information to guests about the hotel facilities and services, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  • Stock the mountain store and put away inventory for the store when it arrives, maintaining a well-stocked and organized retail space.
  • During downtime, ensure that pending tasks are completed, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist guests checking in or out with their baggage, answering questions, and making deliveries, providing a high level of service and attention to detail.
  • Recognize customers immediately with a warm and hospitable welcome, setting the tone for a positive and memorable experience.
  • Respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding location-specific features and services, demonstrating a deep understanding of our hotel and its offerings.
  • Coordinate with Guest Services staff regarding daily VIP arrivals and special guests, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for our most valued guests.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver's license with at least 3 years' driving experience.
  • Must pass a mandatory drug test.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • No major violations (DUI, reckless driving, negligent homicide) in the past 7 years.
  • No more than two minor violations in the past year (accident, speeding).
  • No license suspension or revocation in the last 3 years.
  • Flexible availability (evening and weekend shifts).
  • Frequent running, standing, stooping, lifting, and climbing stairs.
  • Continually standing for long periods of time, up to an entire shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Exposed to winter and summer temperature extremes.
  • Must speak and write fluent English.
