We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cook to join our culinary team at Solista Senior Living by Cogir Oregon. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals for our residents, team members, and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including traditional comfort food and international cuisine.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to create menus and ensure high-quality food preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Expedite and serve meals in a timely and courteous manner.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Culinary School or a minimum of one year experience in full-service kitchen surroundings.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife handling skills.
- Ability to read and execute a recipe.
- Food Handler Card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes.
