About the Role

As a sanitation specialist, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Minnesota's leading Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Centers, recognized for their exceptional programs and specialties. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive floor care including sweeping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and mopping.
  • Conduct thorough vacuuming and spot cleaning of carpets and rugs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of windows, light fixtures, furniture, and walls.
  • Manage waste disposal and ensure proper sanitation of lavatory facilities.
  • Organize and maintain supply closets, ensuring all cleaning equipment is in order.
  • Assist in emergency clean-up situations as needed.
  • Prepare linens and manage waste for proper disposal.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with healthcare staff and patients.
  • Ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols and instructions.
  • Compliance with uniform requirements including scrub attire.
  • Documentation of necessary immunizations upon hiring.
  • Preferred: Two years of consistent work history with prior experience in janitorial services.

Work Schedule
  • Evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM or 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
  • Part-time hours averaging approximately 24 hours per week.
  • Rotating days off, including two weekends per month.
  • Compensation: $16.80 per hour.
