Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at BHS Physician Network, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing services with guidance from attending physicians.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to our patients.

  • Responsibilities
  • Obtain and record clients' health histories, perform comprehensive physical assessments, and diagnose and treat patients as appropriate for their specialty.
  • Refer clients to physicians and/or outside agencies as required, ensure completion of all required documentation of patient care activities, and fulfill all duties assigned by physicians.
  • Report any injuries or adverse reactions during or after treatment, participate in patient review conferences, and assist physicians with utilization review, quality assurance, program evaluation, infection control, and safety committee activities.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, perform and oversee testing procedures, conduct health teaching and counseling, and provide consultative direction for nursing, laboratory, and clinic assistant staff.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution and hold an Advanced Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the state. Additionally, you should be CPR certified and registered with the DEA.

Compensation

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
