We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Medical Director to join our team at Physician Empire. As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will be responsible for overseeing our OPPE and FPPE processes, PI/Quality program, and utilization review committee. You will also work closely with our CEO to recruit and retain physicians for our medical staff.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient behavioral health, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role. You will be Board Certified and have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. A thorough knowledge of industry regulations and standards is also essential.
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will carry a caseload of 8-10 patients. Our team of practitioners, clinicians, nurses, and support staff provide high-quality care for adolescents, adults, and older adults in both inpatient and PHP levels of care. With physicians on site 24/7, there is no routine weeknight or weekend call requirement.
This is a competitive compensation package, including salary, benefits, paid time off, CME, and malpractice reimbursement. There is also opportunity to earn additional reimbursement for seeing additional patients.
