Job Summary:
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant at LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center. Under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, you will complete designated structured/standardized evaluation/re-eval tasks, conduct general activity programs, and assist in planning and implementing treatment programs for individuals limited by psychosocial dysfunction.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize knowledge appropriate to the patient's age to ensure that care provided meets the unique, physical and psychosocial needs of the patients.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, task analysis and clinical reasoning skills, creativity, innovation, professional development and autonomy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Less than 2 years of experience preferred, with psychosocial practice background preferred but not required.
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider certification
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (Maryland)
- Initial COTA certification by AOTCB or NBCOT
