Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at HOK. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of electrical systems for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct electrical analysis and design for projects under the supervision of a Project Engineer.
  • Participate as a team member, contributing ideas and possible solutions to improve project outcomes.
  • Visit project sites during construction to review quality, progress, and compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Ensure the quality and timely delivery of projects to budget.
  • Seek input from senior staff on technical matters to improve project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering degree, Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensed PE.
  • LEED credential required within 6 months of employment.
  • One year project engineering experience on building engineering projects in a particular discipline. Three years' experience preferred.
  • Experience in working in integrated teams.
  • Experience in design and delivery of LEED Silver or higher projects.

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, education, and location. The reasonably expected annual salary range for this position is $85,000 to $115,000.
