Atrium Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Studies Coordinator II to join our Gastroenterology team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities to support multiple research studies of all phases.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate activities to support multiple research studies of all phases, including recruitment, data management, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures to ensure compliance with study protocols and regulations.
- Attend clinic as needed to perform activities, including assisting the research team with recruitment, administering questionnaires, and answering questions about future appointments.
- Compile, register, and submit data as required by the Sponsor.
- Collaborate with the research team to identify and communicate important protocol and data management issues or problems.
- Provide staff relief as required to meet the needs of the department and participate in scheduled team meetings.
- Mentor new and less experienced staff as needed.
- Follow established Atrium Health and department policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree with two years' experience in clinical research or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- SOCRA or ACRP Certification preferred.
- CITI certification for Human Subject Research required.
- WakeOne training for research coordinators required.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and EPIC/WakeOne proficiency.
- Proficient in the use of OnCore/WISER Clinical Trial Management System.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Products.
