Anesthesia Technician

At RWJBarnabas Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team. As a key member of the perioperative team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist anesthesia providers with patient preparation, induction, and intubation
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, including cleaning and disinfection of TEE probes
• Stock and order supplies as needed
• Communicate effectively with the anesthesia team and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest anesthesia techniques and technologies

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited program in Anesthesia Technology or a suitable combination of education and experience
• Maintenance of BLS Healthcare Provider Course completion status
• Additional experience or training may be required based on departmental needs
