About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Nexion Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall safety, appearance, and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• Oversee the completion of maintenance services and activities using our TELS maintenance program.
• Conduct regular inspections of storage rooms, workrooms, and utility/janitorial closets to ensure upkeep and safety controls are in place.
• Ensure safety committee meetings are held monthly and documented accurately.
• Stay up-to-date with economic conditions and recommend adjustments to maintenance services to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of diverse construction or maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with HVAC certification a plus.
• Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
