Job Summary

Salem Health is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and producing high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations using advanced techniques and equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications in medical imaging.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and medical imaging best practices.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Sonography or a related field.
  • One year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or related field.
  • Active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) and registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Abdomen and OB/GYN.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
