Primary Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering security services to foster a safe atmosphere for all.
- Proactively monitoring and responding to security threats.
- Documenting and managing security incidents and potential hazards.
- Staying informed about and adhering to policies related to emergency preparedness.
- Providing assistance and information to enhance safety for staff and visitors.
Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Security Guard certification with Weapon Permit required within 90 days of hire.
- Driver's License preferred.
- Background in Law Enforcement preferred.
- Management of Aggressive Behavior certification preferred.
- Security Professional certification preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant experience required.
- Professional certifications may substitute for education or experience.
Additional Preferences
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military, corrections, or armed security is preferred.
