Responsibilities
SUPERVISORY CONTROLS:
Operates under general supervision with available guidance for problem-solving. Overall performance is assessed for quality and guest satisfaction.

MAJOR DUTIES:
Maintains cleanliness in rooms, corridors, and other designated areas.

Engages in sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing, washing, and polishing of various surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and tools.

Responsible for bed-making and linen changes, including the addition of extra pillows as needed. Cleans and disinfects bathrooms, ensuring towels are changed and neatly arranged. Removes stains and mildew from various surfaces, including toilets and showers. Cleans sliding door tracks and lanai areas, ensuring all furniture is free from debris. Restocks room supplies and amenities, and maintains the cleanliness of utility and laundry areas. Completes special cleaning projects and responds to urgent assignments as necessary.

Adheres to all safety protocols and reports maintenance needs promptly.

Performs additional tasks as assigned.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to follow instructions and read signage is essential. Basic knowledge of cleaning solvents and tools is required.

Must understand the proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions and be capable of removing stains from diverse surfaces.

Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on cleaning equipment is beneficial.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Works independently under general supervision to complete assigned tasks.

PHYSICAL EFFORTS:

Position requires standing and walking on various surfaces, with some bending, lifting, and moving of items.

The utility cart may weigh up to 269 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is primarily conducted indoors in environments with adequate heating, lighting, and ventilation. Exposure to dirt and odors, as well as potential skin irritations from cleaning products, is common.

Care must be taken to avoid injury when using ladders or moving heavy furniture.

Qualifications
Experience in a similar role is preferred, demonstrating the ability to maintain cleanliness and utilize cleaning tools effectively. Strong customer service skills are necessary for interaction with guests.

Preferred candidates will have relevant experience in the hospitality sector, showcasing the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Effective verbal communication skills in English are required.
