Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and preparing estate planning documents, including wills, trust agreements, powers of attorney, advance medical directives, and deeds.
  • Preparing probate filings, petitions, inventories, accounts, inheritance tax returns, and assorted relief petitions.
  • Maintaining client relationships through effective communication and regular updates on case status.
  • Trust administration, including accountings, expense tracking, distribution management, and tax return filing.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive estate plans tailored to clients' needs and goals.
  • Providing guidance on complex legal concepts and ensuring seamless execution of client instructions.
Requirements:
  • Possessing advanced knowledge of estate planning laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrating excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Showcasing strong interpersonal and communication skills, including comfort in explaining complex concepts to clients.
  • Exhibiting high integrity, trustworthiness, and confidentiality in handling sensitive client information.
  • Critical attention to detail, ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, and understanding of basic estate and tax concepts.
