Faith Formation Director

The Director of Faith Formation is a key role in the Catholic community, responsible for leading and directing faith formation programs for children and adults. This position requires a strong passion for the Catholic Faith and a commitment to evangelization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement faith formation programs for children and adults, including sacramental preparation and catechesis.
• Recruit and oversee catechists, volunteers, and teams to support faith formation programs.
• Foster adult formation opportunities and provide resources for ongoing faith development.
• Collaborate with parishioners, staff, and the Archdiocese of Boston to advance the mission of the Church.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in faith formation and catechesis.

Qualifications

• Roman Catholic in good standing with a strong commitment to the Catholic Faith.
• Bachelor's degree in Religious Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Experience with media and innovative communication methods, with a focus on outreach and engagement.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and traditional and innovative communication technology.
