We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technician to join our team at South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers. As a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures utilizing MRI and imaging equipment. This includes preparing patients for exams, operating MRI systems, and ensuring the quality of imaging results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures utilizing MRI and imaging equipment
- Prepare patients for exams, including positioning and technical preparation
- Operate MRI systems, including monitoring equipment and stereotactic biopsy equipment
- Ensure the quality of imaging results, including proper use of RIS and other equipment
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Graduate of a Radiology School
- Previous experience in an outpatient MRI role desirable
- One of the following certifications within 6 months of hire date: American Registration of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (MR) certification or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT)
