As an Electronics Maintenance Specialist, you will collaborate with team leaders and colleagues to uphold standards of Food Safety and Partner Safety. Your role will involve comprehending and implementing standard operating procedures pertinent to your position.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct all necessary PCP and CCP checks relevant to your duties.
- Respond to Food Safety, Food Quality, and customer requirement issues by liaising with team leaders.
- Identify customer needs and ensure optimal operation and product quality.
- Accurately document data on production reports.
- Execute corrective, preventative, and emergency maintenance on electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Perform modifications, component replacements, troubleshooting, calibration adjustments, and performance checks on plant equipment.
- Engage in PLC programming and/or SCADA programming and maintenance.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with OSHA and NEC standards.
- Manage assigned projects, including planning, material procurement, modifications, and major equipment overhauls.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and leadership teams to enhance plant productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor critical equipment as specified in maintenance protocols.
- Complete additional tasks as directed by leadership.
- Proficient in reading schematics.
- Experienced in electrical maintenance.
- Skilled in PLC programming.
- Familiar with Allen Bradley systems.
This is a permanent position.
Work EnvironmentThis role is fully on-site. You will work a rotating schedule from 5 PM to 5 AM, with initial training on the first shift from 5 AM to 5 PM. The work environment involves food manufacturing, specifically cream cheese and yogurt production, which may include colder areas of the facility. The workplace is maintained to high cleanliness standards and operates under GMP regulations. Team collaboration is emphasized, and you will work closely with a processor. The dress code includes long pants, t-shirts, and steel-toed shoes, with uniforms provided.
Physical RequirementsCandidates must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs up to 8 feet, and performing repetitive motions involving twisting, stooping, bending, and reaching.
