We are seeking skilled Emergency Room nurses to deliver exceptional care to patients facing critical health challenges that necessitate immediate medical intervention. As an integral part of our healthcare team, you will evaluate, plan, implement, and assess patient care strategies under general oversight. Collaborating closely with fellow healthcare professionals, you will ensure the highest standards of care for our patients.
- Gather comprehensive patient histories and current symptoms
- Conduct triage assessments considering both physical and psychological factors
- Address basic life support requirements and stabilize patients as needed
- Support physicians during examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed
- Provide intravenous therapy and manage wound care
- Educate patients according to physician-directed care plans
- Ensure the availability of medical supplies and equipment
- Identify and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- At least one year of recent experience in an emergency room setting
- Current nursing licensure and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Preferred certifications include Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
