We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Outpatient Dialysis Center. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and education to individuals with end-stage renal disease.
Responsibilities- Assess patient's status through interview, observation, and physical assessment to identify actual problems and outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve expected patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis treatment options, including in-center hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Perform patient bedside lab testing and associated quality control in compliance with medical provider's orders and hospital lab procedures/policies.
- Supervise and direct Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Current licensure in good standing as a Registered Nurse in the State of IL.
- One or more years of experience working as a RN and required nursing skills.
- Ability to respond appropriately to customer/co-worker interactions and maintain confidential information.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in using word processing, spreadsheet, email application, and web browser.
