Firefighter/EMT Professional

The City of Florence, Kentucky Fire/EMS Department seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter/EMT to join their team. This role is responsible for providing emergency medical services and firefighting capabilities to the community.

With a starting salary of $70,528, including $4,429 State Incentive Pay if eligible, this position offers a competitive compensation package. Lateral applicants may be eligible for a salary range of $70,528 - 76,678, including $4,429 State Incentive Pay if eligible.

As a Firefighter/EMT, you will be expected to:

• Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance as needed
• Operate firefighting equipment and participate in fire suppression efforts
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in good working condition
• Participate in training and drills to ensure readiness and proficiency

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be a U.S. citizen
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be at least 18 years old
• Possess current KY or National Registry EMT certification
• Hold a minimum of a KY 115 hour (KY Basic I) firefighter certification, IFSAC FF 1, ProBoard FF 1, or equivalent certification from another state
• Have a valid CPAT card
