We are seeking an experienced Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at the Outpatient Surgery Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support services to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

About the Role:
As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care activities, including pre-admission testing, admission, and discharge planning. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and efficient care delivery. Your primary focus will be on providing excellent patient experience, ensuring their comfort, safety, and satisfaction throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient care activities, including pre-admission testing, admission, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and efficient care delivery.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding surgical procedures, medications, and post-operative care.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.

Requirements:
For this role, we require:
  • A graduate degree in nursing or related field.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a surgical unit.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Georgia or eligibility for multistate licensure.
