Job Summary

CentralCare Inc is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Women's Health Specialist. This role will involve providing comprehensive primary care to a select population of essentially healthy women in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Facilitate Clinical Care: Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide Health Promotions: Educate patients on health-related topics and provide counseling.
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications and perform other personalized interventions.
  • Recognize Adverse Signs: Identify and respond to emergency situations.
  • Communicate with Healthcare Team: Inform the healthcare team of plans and actions.
  • Make Referrals: Arrange specialty care as needed.
  • Orient and Train: Educate newly assigned staff on unit policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Research: Contribute to research initiatives to improve practice and patient outcomes.
  • Triage Patient Needs: Assess and address patient needs in a timely manner.
  • Advocate for Patients: Ensure patients receive appropriate education and support.
Women's Health Specific Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Care: Offer primary care to a select population of essentially healthy women.
  • Monitor and Facilitate Adherence: Ensure patients adhere to treatment plans and provide education as needed.
  • Perform Nursing Services: Set up, administer, and monitor specialized medical equipment.
  • Make Referrals: Arrange specialty care as needed.
  • Identify and Collect Data: Gather and evaluate measurable outcome data.
  • Train Healthcare Team: Educate staff on policies and procedures for women's health management.
  • Augment Clinical Support: Provide clinical nursing support during absences or shortages.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support and other relevant certifications.
  • Experience: Two years' experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Obstetrics or Women's Health Clinic setting.
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
