The Building Maintenance Specialist is tasked with ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of both the interior and exterior of the facility. This role involves performing cleaning and maintenance duties to uphold the quality of the premises. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with team members, fostering a cooperative environment to enhance customer satisfaction and support overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Essential Duties:
    1. Conduct regular sweeping and dusting of floors.
    2. Manage waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles.
    3. Inspect and replace light fixtures as necessary, utilizing ladders for access.
    4. Restock restroom supplies to ensure availability.
    5. Utilize floor finishing products for mopping and place appropriate signage to indicate wet floors.
    6. Maintain cleanliness of the property by collecting litter.
    7. Perform painting tasks for both interior and exterior areas as required.
    8. Dust and clean warehouse walls and railings.
    9. Execute handyman tasks, including addressing water leaks and securing locks.
    10. Repair broken items within the facility as needed.
    11. Procure supplies from local vendors.
    12. Vacuum office areas when necessary.
    13. Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to sanitize surfaces, including tables and kitchen counters.
    14. Secure all janitorial supplies and chemicals in designated storage at the end of the workday.

      • Daily lifting tasks may range from 10-50 lbs.

      • Standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, climbing stairs or ladders, and reaching overhead.
  4. Training Expectations:
