Roots Through Recovery is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team. As a Case Manager, you will work with clients and families to manage and overcome substance abuse and co-occurring issues. You will utilize assessments and self-assessments to map out client wellness and recovery plans, serving as an accountability partner and coach.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • Minimum 2 years Case Management experience working in the drug and alcohol treatment and/or mental health treatment industry
  • Experience working with private insurance and Drug Medi-Cal is a plus
  • Knowledge of recovery tools, recovery resources, motivation, and behavior, as well as coaching as a change agent
  • Certified as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor or a degree in Social Work
  • Bilingual candidates will be highly considered

  • Expertise in addiction recovery, relapse prevention, community resources, legal issues, workforce development, and coaching
  • Ability to navigate and roll with resistance and deploy techniques to enhance motivation to change
  • Experience in compassionate crisis intervention and ability to de-escalate clients
