Job Summary

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Release Train Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of value through the Agile Release Train (ART) and Solution Train using various tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluating performance results and recommending major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments, providing guidance and support to teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train, using tools such as the Program and Solution Kanban.
  • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning readiness, fostering the preparation of vision and backlogs, and through pre- and post-PI Planning meetings.
  • Assist in tracking the execution of features and capabilities, and assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary.
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets, helping to improve the agility level of the ART and Solution Train.
  • Help manage risks and dependencies, escalating and tracking impediments as needed.
  • Improve the flow of value through value streams using the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps, and facilitate system demos and solution demos.
  • Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops, assessing the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and helping them improve.
Requirements
  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • EIGHT (8) or more years of experience related to Release Train or Scrum and or Program/Project Management.
