Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement advanced computer vision and machine learning algorithms to facilitate mapping and comprehension of dynamic environments.
  • Engage in research and development focused on computer vision, map comprehension, scene semantics, and related fields.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to transition projects from initial prototypes to full-scale production.
  • Integrate traditional computer vision techniques with machine learning to enhance indoor robotic mapping capabilities.
  • Develop and implement algorithms for both desktop and embedded systems, utilizing C/C++ and other programming languages.
Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of robotic perception, incorporating various sensing technologies such as 2D and 3D vision, LIDAR, etc.
  • Familiarity with contemporary machine learning methodologies.
  • Proven experience in areas such as 3D reconstruction, scene understanding, room layout estimation, depth estimation, point cloud processing, sensor fusion, calibration, or semantic segmentation.
  • Strong command of C++ and Python, along with experience in machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Solid understanding of data structures, design patterns, and advanced programming practices.
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of eight years of professional experience in robotics, SLAM, or computer vision.
