Job Summary

Chenega Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Fire Chief to join our team. As a key member of our Fire Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for sharing overall management and control with the Fire Chief, through two or more Assistant Fire Chiefs in charge of operations, training, and technical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Fire Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to the community.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for Fire Department personnel, focusing on technical skills, leadership, and communication.
  • Technical Services: Provide technical expertise and support to the Fire Department, ensuring the effective use of resources and equipment.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with the Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chiefs to develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the Fire Department.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire department management, with a proven track record of success.
