Patient Referral Liaison

As a Patient Referral Liaison, you will be responsible for coordinating patient referrals, ensuring timely reimbursement, and delivering exceptional patient care at EngageMED, Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians, patients, and payers to gather, verify, and process referrals, authorizations, and pre-certifications.
- Communicate clearly with patients and providers regarding referral status and necessary actions.
- Coordinate appointments, clinic visits, and special arrangements, such as transportation and interpreter services.
- Develop and maintain databases of preferred referral physician offices for each clinic physician.
- Assist Practice Managers with resolving complaints and providing solutions related to patient referrals.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of clinic referral and scheduling processes, as well as billing/authorization requirements.
- Understanding of federal and state pay requirements, including Medicare, DSHS, HMO/PPO Contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and high level of professionalism.
Salary Range: $48,000 - $68,000 per year.
