About the Role

We are seeking experienced attorneys to join our team at a busy, growing, top Texas law firm. The firm is seeking attorneys with a strong background in defense and litigation, with a focus on insurance defense, transportation litigation, and construction defect cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an active caseload throughout Texas, including insurance defense and trucking litigation cases.
  • Conduct discovery, hearings, trials, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings as required.
  • Research the law applicable to cases or matters and draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions as required.
  • Remain current with developments in the law and conduct settlement negotiations as necessary and appropriate.
  • Effectively communicate and persuade using written and verbal skills.
  • Bill 1,920 hours annually and meet all deadlines in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of litigation experience, with exact experience level depending on position.
  • Construction defect experience preferred, required for designated positions.
  • Personal injury/wrongful death experience preferred.
  • Transportation/trucking experience preferred, required for designated positions.
  • Computer and software proficiency required.
  • Active member of the State Bar of Texas or sitting for upcoming Bar required.
