About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working on the road and interacting with customers. You will be required to operate a straight truck, tractor-trailer, or double trailer, depending on the route schedule determined by your supervisor.
Responsibilities- Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations, and policies, adhering to all safety practices.
- Deliver products or assets according to route schedule and customer delivery expectations in a safe and timely manner.
- Report delivery delays to management due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns.
- Load and unload product as required at designated stops, including stocking and ordering of product (varies from route to route).
- Maintain good relations with customers and report any problems to the driver supervisor or manager.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong attention to detail. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing situations.
