We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our Dietary team at The Vines Hospital. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and sanitary preparation of patient and staff meals.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of meals for patients and staff, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly sanitized and stored.
- Collaborate with the Dietary team to ensure seamless meal service and high-quality food presentation.
- Participate in inventory management and ordering of food and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and prepared for meal service.
- Develop and implement creative and nutritious meal plans that meet the dietary needs of patients and staff.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade or vocational school training in food service or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in food service, with experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
- Food handler certification required.
The Vines Hospital is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults in a secure and private setting.
