Host Job Description

At STK Steakhouse, we're looking for a skilled and charismatic Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure menus are clean and organized, and that all guests are warmly greeted upon arrival.
  • Open doors for guests, record guest names and party sizes, and update the Maître D/Lead Host on table status.
  • Run the Open Table System, locate guest parties when tables become available, and accommodate special seating requests.
  • Seat guests based on preference, guest count, and proper seating of the room.
  • Have a full understanding of bottle service procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Offer menus, inform guests of their server's name, and inspect tables for proper presentation and completeness.
  • Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed, thank guests as they leave, and invite them to return.
  • Be able to work on your feet for long periods, wear heels (if applicable), and perform outreach/concierge visits.
  • Represent STK at off-site events as a brand ambassador, answer phones, and lift/carry trays.
  • Assist FOH staff with setting up the restaurant, cleaning, bussing tables, running food, taking orders, making cocktails, serving guests, and opening/serving wine.
  • Perform all duties while following health department sanitation requirements and adhering to no consumption of alcoholic beverages while working.
