Position Overview
The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care during surgical procedures. Key responsibilities include patient positioning, preparation, and case circulation. The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical specialties, including Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current nursing license in the state. CPR certification is mandatory, along with advanced life support certification.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an intra-operative setting is required.
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency, leadership qualities, and the ability to educate others.
- Physically and emotionally equipped to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
