About the Role

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician I to join our team in Waterville, ME. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy-duty equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to resolve complex issues
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • ASE certification in diesel engine repair
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain CDL
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
