About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Lawyer to join our team in the Merrillville, Indiana office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling complex civil litigation cases, drafting pleadings and motions, and conducting legal research.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, orders, discovery, and legal memoranda
• Preparing and responding to written discovery
• Conducting legal research and analyzing case materials
• Taking and defending depositions, reviewing client documents, and preparing status reports
• Assisting with mediations, pretrial settlement conferences, and court appearances

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Indiana
• Proficient in Lexis and MS Office
• Strong legal research and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
