Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Real Estate/Financial Services Litigation Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our litigation practice, you will be responsible for handling complex and high-profile cases related to real estate and financial services.

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis of complex legal issues related to real estate and financial services litigation.
  • Provide legal advice to clients on their rights and obligations, keeping in mind the business implications of the legal advice.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in real estate and financial services disputes.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
  • Participate in firm development and marketing activities, such as networking events, client seminars, and contributing to firm publications.
  • Stay up-to-date on legislative changes that may affect the company and its clients.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on real estate and/or financial services litigation.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling complex litigation matters from inception through trial.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve matters in the client's best interest.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and tasks simultaneously and to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Willingness to participate in firm development and marketing activities.
