About the Opportunity

This position offers a unique chance to build a program, develop a training curriculum, recruit clinical faculty, and provide assistance to our sites with becoming accredited. The ultimate goal is to help our community grow its health workforce by training psychiatrists in a community-based setting with a focus on rural and underserved communities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a training curriculum for the Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education Program
  • Recruit and manage clinical faculty to support the program
  • Assist our sites with becoming accredited to establish the Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education Program
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the program
Requirements
  • Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
  • Licensed in the State of Georgia or willingness to obtain license
  • Experience with ACGME program requirements and establishment and development of PLA's
