D&L Foundry, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of grey and ductile iron castings. We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance department and ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team to achieve exceptional results and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and deploy technical resources and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external experts as needed.
- Monitor task completion and ensure good performance and record-keeping on management systems.
- Manage equipment failures and plan and coordinate shutdowns to minimize downtime.
- Develop and manage an annual departmental budget, including labor, outside contractors, parts, and materials.
- Participate in capital project planning, including maintainability design, cost estimation, and payback justification.
- Manage the introduction of new equipment, plant, and equipment from design to installation, collaborating with relevant parties.
- Interact with vendors to exploit technology, purchase equipment, and services, and resolve long-term equipment, training, and process issues.
- Assist in selecting contracting and vendors and support vendor/contract management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience of 8+ years.
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using formal techniques and failure analysis.
- Experience in manufacturing, food processing, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utilities processes and equipment.
- Compliance experience with OSHA, EPA, PSM, and other relevant codes and regulations.
