Job Summary

CSL Behring is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to support our Coagulation and Acquired Bleeding team. As a key member of our medical affairs team, you will play a critical role in advancing scientific and collaborative relationships with external healthcare communities and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Acquire and maintain an advanced level of clinical-scientific knowledge in the assigned therapeutic area, including CSL Behring's products and areas of therapeutic interest.
  2. Accurately and compliantly interpret and disseminate balanced and factual scientific, clinical, and health economic data. Gather and evaluate new information as it applies to CSL Behring's products and areas of therapeutic interest.
  3. Identify and engage appropriate regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in objective-based interactions to develop professional relationships and exchange clinical-scientific information relevant to CSL Behring's products and areas of therapeutic interest.
  4. Provide areas of interest and general high-level information regarding CSL Behring's Investigator Study (IIS) program process in response to unsolicited requests. Monitor and communicate progress for those IISs approved and supported.
  5. Gather, translate, and communicate actionable, strategy-aligned insights from scientific, educational, and conference setting interactions.
  6. Deliver approved educational programs to relevant healthcare audiences (e.g. HCPs, Managed Care Organizations, Specialty Pharmacies, etc.).
  7. Attend scientific and medical meetings.
  8. Deliver approved educational programs and training to relevant internal functions.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess a degree in nursing, pharmacy, or an advanced degree in science/medicine (MD, PhD, PharmD) and have 5+ years' relevant pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry experience. Prior experience providing MSL level support in specific therapeutic areas is required. The ideal candidate will be able to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a dynamic, field-based environment, with a strong ability to communicate effectively in a virtual setting.
