Position Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in obtaining high-quality diagnostic images that aid Radiologists in accurately identifying or excluding various medical conditions.

Your daily responsibilities will involve performing X-ray procedures in various settings, including imaging centers and emergency departments, to support healthcare professionals in diagnosing illnesses and injuries.

Success in this position requires a comprehensive understanding of diagnostic imaging principles, including imaging workflows, patient positioning strategies, and the ability to capture precise images for timely and accurate assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively interpret clinical information to meet the radiological needs of patients.
  • Employ thorough imaging techniques for proper patient positioning based on specific orders.
  • Maintain vigilance in monitoring radiation exposure levels and duration.
  • Consistently apply sterile techniques and uphold safety protocols for patients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate mechanical skills and confidence in troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiological equipment to prevent operational failures.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Radiology or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience, which may include practical training.
  • Active Radiologic Technologist license in good standing.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) is mandatory.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
