Senior Fantasy Illustrator for Tabletop RPG

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Senior Fantasy Illustrator to join our art team on a 1099 contractor basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both traditional and digital art techniques, with a focus on fantasy illustrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality fantasy illustrations for various RPG-related materials, including rulebooks, adventure modules, character designs, monster illustrations, and promotional content.
• Work from concept sketches, briefs, and references provided by game designers or other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure artwork aligns with the project's visual style, tone, and narrative.
• Ensure all artwork is completed on time and meets the company's quality standards.
• Revise artwork based on feedback from the creative director or game designer.
• Maintain clear communication and organization in all deliverables to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a fantasy illustrator, ideally in the RPG, fantasy, or similar genres.
• Strong portfolio showcasing fantasy line art, including character designs, environment concepts, and creature illustrations.
• Proficiency in traditional and digital art tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, or similar).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to incorporate feedback into revisions.
• Familiarity with RPG genres, lore, and visual styles is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
