Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring the highest standard of care.
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in their health status, providing timely interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic and person-centered care that respects the dignity and autonomy of our residents.
  • Educate residents and their families on health-related topics and promote preventive care through various channels.
  • Respond to medical emergencies with expertise and composure, providing immediate and appropriate interventions to ensure the well-being of our residents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident medical records, adhering to regulatory requirements and clinical standards.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment that promotes emotional well-being and alleviates stress for our residents and their families.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay current with industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • You possess a genuine passion for working with people and excel in challenging situations with a positive attitude.
  • You hold a current State License as a Registered Nurse (RN) and have a graduate or future graduate degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Effective communication skills in both verbal and written forms are essential for success in this role.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a long-term care setting is preferred, but not required.
  • You are a natural problem solver with a commitment to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff members.
