We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated High School Math Educator to join our team at UrbanPromise Ministries. As a Mathematics Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching high school students and helping them develop their math skills and confidence.

1. Teaching and Instruction: Develop and implement effective lesson plans, assess student learning, and provide individualized support to students.
2. Classroom Management: Create a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and social growth.
3. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, and work collaboratively with the UPA team to achieve academic goals.
4. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional training and development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mathematics education.
5. Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and implement effective means to measure student learning, review and grade student work, and document student progress.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Secondary Education Teaching Certification
• At least two years of teaching experience with high school aged youth
• Excellent instruction and interpersonal skills
• CPR and First Aid Certification
