Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to promote staff morale and engagement
- Conduct regular meetings with nursing staff to discuss important issues and share information
- Act as a role model in all activities within the nursing unit, demonstrating high standards of nursing practice
- Ensure that all registered nurses are aware of and understand procedures for documenting health records
- Manage the orientation and induction of new staff, ensuring that they receive comprehensive training and support
- Identify work-related goals for new nursing staff and develop strategies for achievement
- Maintain accurate staffing and scheduling records
- Complete quality reports and data analysis to inform nursing practice
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
- Current (validated within the last 12 months) CPR and/or Advanced Life Support certification
