Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to lead our receiving team in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and meeting organizational goals and objectives, while ensuring a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 10-15 employees in a receiving team
- Workforce planning and forecasting
- Employee hiring and training
- Time and attendance tracking
- Area layout and flow management
- Safe work environment and safety improvement discussions
- Daily interaction with cross-business teams
- Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
- University degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts
- Previous experience supervising and interfacing bargaining unit employees
- Excellent communication and customer-focused skills
- Ability to lead in a team-based manufacturing environment
