Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to lead our receiving team in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and meeting organizational goals and objectives, while ensuring a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 10-15 employees in a receiving team
  • Workforce planning and forecasting
  • Employee hiring and training
  • Time and attendance tracking
  • Area layout and flow management
  • Safe work environment and safety improvement discussions
  • Daily interaction with cross-business teams
  • Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree and 3 years of prior relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts
  • Previous experience supervising and interfacing bargaining unit employees
  • Excellent communication and customer-focused skills
  • Ability to lead in a team-based manufacturing environment
