Job Summary

Pioneers Healthcare District is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine duties and operating complex equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Nuclear Medicine Equipment: Safely and competently operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce quality diagnostic images as directed by physicians according to established standards and protocols.
  • Perform Nuclear Medicine Duties: Under the supervision of the Radiology Director/Manager and/or Lead Technologist, perform all nuclear medicine duties as well as other related duties as needed to facilitate workflow and promote healthcare.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work effectively with patients, visitors, and staff to provide excellent patient care and support.
  • Maintain Certification and Competence: Maintain current certification as a nuclear medicine technologist and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Formal AMA-approved educational program with certification as a nuclear medicine technologist.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate complex computerized equipment and follow departmental procedures.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work with minimal or no supervision and take rotating calls on evenings and weekends.
