Position Overview:

The Ecommerce Infrastructure and Operations Manager is tasked with supervising the IT framework and operational activities of the ecommerce division. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the IT systems and networks are efficiently managed, secure, and consistently operational.

Key Responsibilities:


• Formulate and implement a comprehensive strategy for the organization's IT framework to align with business goals.


• Supervise the upkeep and configuration of servers, networking equipment, and data centers to guarantee peak performance and dependability.


• Oversee cloud infrastructure and services, encompassing both public and private cloud solutions, to enhance scalability and cost-effectiveness.


• Direct and uphold security protocols to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure against potential threats and vulnerabilities.


• Create and execute strategies to ensure the organization's capability to recover from IT emergencies and sustain business operations.


• Monitor and predict infrastructure capacity requirements to support growth and evolving demands.


• Cultivate relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure prompt support and service delivery.


• Lead the response and reporting for IT incidents, outages, and service interruptions, minimizing downtime and user impact.


• Spearhead the adoption of automation tools and processes to enhance infrastructure management and reduce manual interventions in collaboration with DevOps teams.


• Manage a team of IT professionals responsible for infrastructure and operational tasks, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

Required Skills and Expertise:


• Proven experience in leading and managing infrastructure and operational teams.


• Proficient in overseeing and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud resources.


• Expertise in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of technological infrastructure.


• Ability to develop and execute strategies for infrastructure and operations that align with business objectives.


• Proficient in budget management and resource allocation for technology infrastructure.


• Understanding of IT governance, compliance, and risk management principles.


• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT support, security, and development.


• Skills in disaster recovery planning and business continuity management.


• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure and operations, such as cloud computing and DevOps methodologies.


• Strong communication and leadership abilities to drive technology initiatives and align them with business objectives.


• Comprehensive understanding of IT service management and operational best practices.

Experience Required:


• A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT service management, and operational roles.


• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
