Job Summary

Vertex Resource Group is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tanker truck and hauling crude oil, butane, and propane to various customer and Vertex worksites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and operate a tanker truck in a safe and professional manner
  • Participate in our safety program by adhering to company and customer policies and procedures
  • Attend safety meetings and toolbox talks, and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Work collaboratively with coworkers, contractors, and customers to achieve our goals
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and rules
  • Perform basic maintenance on the truck to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
  • 2 years' experience driving tank trucks (fluid hauling) desired
  • Ability to work independently and manage time and productivity
  • Capable of performing physical duties (lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching)
