  • Job Overview: As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic, you will execute essential A&P tasks, which include repairs, maintenance, overhauls, modifications, and diagnostics on Textron Aviation aircraft at our service center.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct a variety of mechanical tasks across different aircraft types, identifying issues and performing necessary repairs, replacements, and adjustments to guarantee aircraft functionality.
    • Engage in troubleshooting turbine engines, conducting inspections, repairs, and engine run-ups.
    • Perform modifications and system checkouts on airframe systems and components.
    • Implement service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines in accordance with established inspection protocols.
    • Utilize a range of tools and equipment to repair or modify aircraft systems and assemblies.
    • Assist in the movement and towing of aircraft during maintenance activities.
    • Participate in the cleaning of parts and components during aircraft repair and assembly processes.
    • Undertake additional tasks related to service center operations as required.
    • Assume responsibility for the quality and completion of assigned work.
  • Qualifications:
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • A&P License is essential.
    • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in aircraft maintenance, including jet, turboprop, piston, modification, or airframe sheet metal work.
    • Preferred experience in a customer-focused environment handling aircraft inspections and repairs.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Badge through the relevant airport authority.

This position offers a potential sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 (pre-tax), contingent upon experience level. Terms and conditions apply. Textron provides a comprehensive compensation package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, as well as time-off programs. Compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, and market factors. The pay range is indicative only, and compliance with local pay transparency laws is maintained.
