Operating Room Registered Nurse

HealthPartners is seeking a dedicated Operating Room (OR) Circulator Registered Nurse to become a vital member of our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) teams. Join us in our mission to enhance the care and experience of our patients and their families every day.
As a member of our Same Day Surgery Center Team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, multi-specialty surgical environment. This role may require occasional travel to other Same Day Surgery Centers as needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver direct patient care in ambulatory settings as an Operating Room (OR) Circulator.
- Coordinate and supervise patient care provided by assistive personnel.
- Utilize a systematic approach to nursing practice, incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation in line with the Nurse Practice Act and recognized professional standards.
This position offers a 0.8 FTE with variable day shift start times and lengths, including rotating late shifts and occasional travel to alternate sites.
Required Qualifications:- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
- ACLS Certification required (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
- Prior Operating Room experience is essential.
- Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles to ensure appropriate service and safety.
- AORN Certification (CNOR) and/or familiarity with AORN standards.
- Experience in scrub roles is preferred.
